Hi there

Throughout my work in tech, design, and the arts, I've learned that great leadership always creates space for people to change and grow. It's during those times of transition that I help creative teams tell their stories, define culture, and connect to something greater than themselves.

About

As a musician, I've performed for two decades with many different faith communities, often as an interim worship director. In 2008, my friends and I founded a nonprofit that designed new ways for artists and churches to create together. We called it ByFor.

In 2015, Fuller Seminary acquired ByFor and adopted the model to form new artist residency programs. I worked with the Seattle residency during its pilot year.

Experience

In addition, I work a rotating roster of startups and Fortune 500 companies, bringing form to ideas where technology and design meet. My experience includes years as a strategist, visual storyteller, and event producer.

My trends and insights include Microsoft Design's Inclusive work, which has been honored by IxDA, AIGA, and FastCo and added to the permanent collection at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum. My recent writing has been published by MIT’s Journal of Design and Science.
