Hi, I'm Molly. I'm a student of cultures, curious about why we create, how we connect, and where we tell stories along the way. Throughout my work in tech, design, and the arts, I've learned that great leadership always creates space for people to change and grow. It's during those times of transition that I enjoy helping creative teams tell their stories, define culture, and connect to something greater than themselves.
Musically I'm known for soulful vocals, and I've performed for over a decade with many artists and faith communities. In 2008, a passion for the arts inspired my friends and me to found a nonprofit that designed new ways for artists and churches to create together. We called it ByFor. In 2015, Fuller Seminary Northwest acquired ByFor to form The Cascadia Residency. I worked with The Cascadia Residency for its pilot year and am currently exploring a fellowship at Princeton.
Other life-long passions include advocacy for disadvantaged children and youth. I grew up working closely with the medical organization Healing the Children, helped run a preschool for orphans in China with the Philip Hayden Foundation, and served for many years on the board of Seattle Street Youth Ministries.
In my spare time, I work a rotating roster of startups and Fortune 500 companies, bringing form to ideas where design and tech meet. I've worked as a storyteller in executive communications and PR for many years. My film, trend, and insights work has been shared in classrooms across the world, awarded by IxDA, featured in KPCB's 2017 Design in Tech Report, and nominated as a FastCo World Changing Idea. My writing has been published in Arcade.
